Where you will go
Overview
When visiting Mù Cang Chải, tourists will be amazed by the majestic mountains of the Hoàng Liên range, with peaceful villages nestled in green valleys or perched on the Khau Phạ pass. The terraced farming culture of the Mông ethnic group in La Pán Tẩn, Chế Cu Nha, and Dế Xu Phình has transformed Mù Cang Chải (which means “dry tree village”) into lush, fertile terraced fields. Over hundreds of years, these terraces not only reflect the unique farming methods of the Mông people but also hold significant historical and cultural values. The hardworking efforts of the Mông people in the highlands of Mù Cang Chải have created magnificent masterpieces, known as the “golden trays” on the hilltops.
